If... Like me... You keep your Mifi hooked up to the 12v system 24/7 ...
Be aware that it will kill your battery...
Mine is bulging out if the case.. and if unhooked from 12v .... Dies immediately.

I also understand .. in certain circumstances... They can catch fire in this state ??

I have the same unit and like yours it's permanently plugged in. You've made me wonder if it would work OK with the battery removed. Think I'll go and check - now :eek: .

Ours only gets charged when it needs it.
Think it needs the battery to complete the circuit!:)
