currently stuck between a specific MoHo unit & standard car device.

I can't comment on that specific model, but as a general point, when we bought our motorhome we quickly binned the car sat nav we had as it kept aiming us at narrow steep roads and low bridges. Since we bought a specific motorhome model from Aguri we haven't had a problem.

We use an android tablet and run "osmand" software. Registered version about a fiver and you can update as many times as you want. Can be tried for free but then only allowed to download a few countries. Will eat memory so we have it on the sd card. Can input weights and heights but is not 100% accurate. Has been known to try and use skinny lanes but we are happy with it.
Lots of other apps out there.

Cheap Chinese, Xgody Sat Nav. Works fine for me.

I have gone for it, at £140 it's going to be useful & clunky no doubt, that is at least half the price of other clunky Camper specific sat navs

Garmin do a couple (660/770) Camper LMT (or LTM). Now as regards being specific.
It allows you to input the height, length and width of the vehicle along with the weight. I use the 660 (770 is too big for me) and switch between the Moho (Camper) and my lorry (obviously a lot bigger).
Within the Garmin are ACSI sites and MHF sites (not motorhome fun but a previous forum). There are also places like aldi/Lidl and other shopping places as normal.
