Whilst in the kitchen about to do the washing up I decided to turn the telly on and hubby had left it on "Ideal World" (true ... he loves it, I can't stand it!). Just as I was about to turn over to watch a vintage 'Columbo' they started to advertising an electric bike so, in the interests of research/other forum members, I kept watching/listening! :D

It's something called an "E-Lite Natural" ... really catchy name  ... anyway, at only £449 it seem to be a good price for a not overly basic 20" folding one; it comes in black and white and apparently the black one is selling like hotcakes!

Just thought some funsters might be interested as it won't break the bank:

That's the price they should sell at. Excellent.

Only negative, they do not disclose the battery spec, apart from 36V.

I'll ask them and see what their customer service is like................

PS... OK emailed "What is battery spec"

I'd like to know what size they are when folded. Perhaps I'll email them too...

Nothing about the battery. That is the motor power, the legal limit. About 1/3rd HP. Far far less than a moped.

The battery should be 36V 10Ah, hopefully.

Looking at the size of the battery casing I suspect it's at least a 10 amp, if not more, if it can do 25 miles with pedal assist it's not pittiful that's for sure!

I got a reply - "please give us the bike code". But when I went on line to find this I found the instruction manual which states 36V 8Ah.

Which has more energy that last seasons 24V 10Ah.
