When in the UK we usually get our diesel from Tesco as we shop there, have Tesco credit cards and enjoy using our club card points on the train. :LOL:
Well here in Spain just round the corner from the site we have a garage that sells cheap fuel, at the moment it's €116.9. (y)

But..............The Spanish have different ideas, and say nothing about the fuel being good or bad, and we know that Shell / Repsol / Cepsa are about 5 cents a litre more, but that's not the problem. :eek:
The way they look at it is........the cheap garage employs 1 person, and the others employ 3 people , and say don't get your fuel there. :rolleyes:

As its our second home ;) we have decided to get our diesel somewhere else, and pay a bit extra and support the local community. (y)
What would you do?

:D I will point out we shop at Lidl or the market, and when we leave, we fill up at supermarkets on the way back. :ROFLMAO: Bob.

fuel price dropped in the past few days in the UK £1.228 in Tescos Barnstaple, always get fuel there for my Tesco travel vouchers. Local garages are 4-6p a litre dearer and claim only to get 1p a litre profit. I really don't see it myself. I buy where the price is best and no scruples.

Lets put it like this.. I have been known to drive around the town in the Smartie, find the cheapest price ( not always Tescos or Sainsburys )then come home and take the MH to the cheapest place..

Scarborough.......end of the road and little competition.

Still 124.9p at supermarkets here....mind, that only includes morrison and sainsbury as tesco were too greedy buying a cheap site unsuitable for fuel sales.

All the big players are 124.9 around here.. The SAME people, 12 miles away, are 122.9 .. basta's :mad:

Same in Kings Lynn, all our lot are 2 or 3p cheaper than their own outlets at Wisbech. I suppose they reckon the tattooed layabouts there are mostly on benefits so can afford the extra. :getmecoat:

Just point out that ;

" Repsol's net profit during the first nine months of the year reached 1.646 billion euros, a 28% gain over the previous year's figure" :) made up of all the extra 5 centimos!

In the UK They now use some sort of "sniffer" that detects if you are using/have used agricultural diesel or central heating oil.:sneaky:

Doesnt seem to bother the continental HGV drivers that run twin tanks 1 for agi and 1 for clear :)

Just would like to ask the people in Jonny fourinner land, How do you get on with the "tight lanes" out of supermarket fuel stations? It seems to me that they are designed to stop commercial vehicles.And that includes us.?......Martin
