When in the UK we usually get our diesel from Tesco as we shop there, have Tesco credit cards and enjoy using our club card points on the train.
Well here in Spain just round the corner from the site we have a garage that sells cheap fuel, at the moment it's €116.9.
But..............The Spanish have different ideas, and say nothing about the fuel being good or bad, and we know that Shell / Repsol / Cepsa are about 5 cents a litre more, but that's not the problem.
The way they look at it is........the cheap garage employs 1 person, and the others employ 3 people , and say don't get your fuel there.
As its our second home we have decided to get our diesel somewhere else, and pay a bit extra and support the local community.
What would you do?
I will point out we shop at Lidl or the market, and when we leave, we fill up at supermarkets on the way back. Bob.
