Chausson Welcome 17
Hi,
We have a Chausson Welcome 17 2.8jtd, it has aheater button on the dash, with light indicator. When pressed fan under driver seat runs nicely, but no heat.
Are there isolators located somewhere, don't see any under the seat.
Any help appreciated.

Bump - in case any Chausson owners can advise or did you find them Rowdy Yates ?

Is the heat supplied by the engine cooling system?

Hi, yes it is supplied by the cooling system.
I don't feel any heat under the seat.
I can only guess it can be isolated for summer time.

The heater under the seat will be a heat exchanger fed with hot water from the engine once the engine has reached operating temperature. The fan just blows air through the fins in the heat exchanger and into the van interior. You only get hot air if the hot water can circulate through the heat exchanger. I assume you're checking for heat with the engine running and warmed up? If so, and it's not blowing hot, have you looked for a shut off valve in the engine bay, on one of the black rubber 20/25mm diameter water pipes?

As you say, I checked after traveling for an hour or so.
I have only checked under the seat for isolation valves before posting. Hoping someone would know where it's isolated.
Circulation pipes from the heater are stainless steel but disappear under the floor at the rear of the seat, but didn't see them underneath the vehicle,I probably need to look more closely.

Are these the valves?
Or are they for something else.

I wouldn't like to say for certain as your van is a newer model than mine but they definitely look like they could be, maybe someone else can confirm. Do the pipes get hot one side of those valves and not the other?

Hi,
Same problem but more info.
Found these connectors that go to the underseat heater. So not connected.
Should I tee into the pipes serving the in cab heater, with isolation valves so it can be turned off in summer, as they are close to the connections. Looks simple but checking if I may create another problem. Does anyone have a similar setup, or pic.
