Charging the Leisure Battery (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Sorry if this has been covered loads of times before I am a newbie.

In the AlGarve on our secont trip, the first time out in Scotland the split charge relay stopped working. The dealer fixed it and put on a new battery. Now we have blown the new (cheap rubbish) split charge relay and I am told by two specialists that the van is never going to charge the leisure battery without a booster to overcome the alternator regulation from the engine battery.

What are people using to do this?

A bit of Googling suggests a Stirling Battery battery charger UB2 or something ( I have lost the link to post) Has anyone any experience of this ?
