Has anyone successfully charged a mobility scooter using an inverter while driving along? We don't use sites when abroad and most aires (and of course all wilding spots) don't have EHU so maybe this would be an effective way of doing it? Comments please.

Yes a friend of mine has been doing it for years. 3 months in Portugal every year with no hookup.

Yes, wheelchair actually, but do it all the time.

24V x 3A charger.
Less than 1A at 230V input.
Run from a 350W inverter.

You do need a 400ml non-stop drive for a full charge though. :D2:whistle:

I have a 12 volt to 24 volt charger that charges whilst on the move. Not expensive from ebay. Plugs into the cigarette lighter socket.
