After being pointed to the charge frequency setting on my solar charger I've found its set at 25hz this can be adjusted to 50 or 100.
We have a 110ah banner wet battery and the cab battery set into the solar system.
My question is which is the best setting and why have 3 settings.

The thread Jim liked to gives a lot of info. Only applies to PWM regulators. If you are spending a lot of time off grid particularly out of season really need to be using a good quality MPPT regulator.

the frequency change is an option should the regulator interfere with the radio for example or tv. that's all it does .if you have no interference then leave it alone on the default setting.

Battery charging is DC so where does the frequency come in?
Alternating current (AC) means the current alternates between positive and negative, many times per second usually.

Direct current (DC) means the current always flows in the same direction.

Constant voltage is the most common form of DC, where the voltage stays at the same level, or slowly varies, like a battery.

Pulsed DC is a form of DC where the voltage switches on and off rapidly. Typically this is used to vary things like light intensity or motor speed. If the light is rapidly switched on for 25% of the time, and off for 75% of the time, it will appear to be only 25% of the full brightness. Because the current always flows in the same direction, and never reverses, it is technically DC not AC.
