I'd like to use the 12v charger that, as you can see, is rated at 54 watts. If that is plugged into the 12 tv socket in the van, and has all sockets used, is this likely to blow the fuse for the 12v socket? My knowledge of Ohm's law is nearly 50 years out of date.

54Watts = 4.5Amps. Most 12V accessory sockets are rated to 10Amps.......but check!

54 watts is the maximum power draw it can handle while being used to power the 4 USB devices. You’re going to need the wattage of the devices you’ll be plugging into this.

Thanks both for the advice. All I want to do is to charge up our iPhones (6se) our iPads -ancient ipad2s) and occasionally a Bose Bluetooth speaker. . The socket is 10amp and is used to power our Avtex 12v. Hopefully we'll be ok.

Oh yeah, I forgot. They're modern, state of the art iPhones and iPads and they sit next to our Rolexs and £10,000 in cash. (For insurance purposes when we're gassed). :giggle:

These adapters are fine on a 10A socket. Ihave two in my mh. One powers the satnavs and the gps speedometer, the other charges phones tablets. I don't have a Rolex.

Edit or £10,000
