So since last night's announcement of a total lockdown the tunnel prices have risen about 40%

£103 to £145 from yesterday to today

i'm not sure why as no-one will be travelling surely

Has the frequent traveller price gone up? It was £540 for 10 tickets in December

If you could get someone to share with you, it might be the cheaper option?

Wow that is a big increase ...not sure if it affects those needing to amend their dates due to corvid , but if so I only changed ours yesterday with no extra to pay yesterday morning..whew

No they're still £540 plus £14 per crossing for a motorhome as they had already gone up last year from the previously price of £460 plus £12 supplement for a motorhome. The supplements for standard peak and high peak periods has gone up too from £20 to £25 and £30 to £40 respectively. The other bad news is that the cost of pet travel has been increased and is now £20 each way per pet, I think it was £18 previously which was bad enough!

Just checked march which I had checked before and it's still the same £110

Just been on eurotunnel site to move our booking forward again this time to may and it’s showing £40 per dog each way! How much is this new AHC thing going to cost on top of that for two mutts?. Rant over...

According to the ever correct BBC yesterday the AHC is £100.
That will be a green light for most vets to be the starting point.

I went in early Sept 2020 and have just checked the prices for same day and time in Sept 2021 and there is only £3 difference.

They can check what you have looked at and the price increases as they know you want that particular day.

The ferries are masters of this

It would appear that Eurotunnel increase their prices more than once a year with the "supplement" charges applicable at the time of purchase. When we took out our Frequent Traveller in October 2020 it was £480 for 10 tickets basic price. We originally booked to go away at the end of October and the motorhome supplement was still £12 & £18 for the dog. When we had to cancel this booking due to France travel restrictions, we moved it to April 2021 & the supplements have stayed the same.

Are you sure you were on the correct site both times?

I think for most people the price could be free or a million quid each way it is irrelevant as we cannot travel and there is no prospect of this changing any time soon.
Sadly, I think you're right :(.

what about the extension that they gave but we are not able to take, with the FT tickets I have not used any of mine from 2019. They said an extension but it looks like the lockdown will pass that date.

I've just checked for the times I usually cross and there is very little difference to the price I last paid two years ago!

Ditto.
We useally budget £200 when we go , been the same now at least 3 years, but mostly use Tesco vouchers anyway, and daft as it may seem they probably keep up as when stuff goes up in the shops you get more points

I've just looked and it is the same price for our in April if we are allowed
