Changing vehicle battery

When changing the vehicle starter battery is it advisable to turn off the EBL?

Advice would be appreciated.

Should be fine, as there will be no signal to the EBL unless the engine is running.

You might as well turn everything off, it will only take 10 mins
Disconnect the negative lead first

I can't turn our EBL 4-105 off, (no external switch) but I do make sure that the MH is disconnected from mains power, and that the fuse for the solar panels is removed, and that I have isolated the Sterling B2B unit, before disconnecting any batteries, including the starter battery.
