Ha anyone here successfully replaced a radio in a Peugeot Boxer cab? I'm selling my car  but will be removing my fancy DAB radio and replacing it with the original Merc one beforehand. Would love to be able to fit my radio in the motorhome in place of the rather functional factory fitted jobby that it came with. Is that even possible? (n)

Depends which Pug one is currently fitted..
If it is the bog standard thing then it is a simply swap over.. All the plugs are standard nowadays so SHOULD just plug straight in !

You may need an extra wiring loom for the steering wheel controls that I think many Peugeots have fitted.

When I changed mine in our previous Pug ( with wheel controls ) they still all just plugged straight in .. Might have just been lucky though..

I fitted a nice replacement radio with bluetooth etc. in my Boxer based M\H, straightforward swap but as Martin said you need an additional loom/relay to connect to the steering wheel controls, at about £70 I never bothered, whilst at the wheel I could reach the radio controls quite easily:rolleyes:

Thanks @Jaws. HWMBO has fitted lots of radios over the years and isn't worried about the electrical side of it, more worried about how to fit it into the dash. I'm attaching a pic of the radio system that's in it, and the radio that I would like to fit. ]

If it's DAB that you want, then you could also just leave the existing radio in place and add an adaptor. There are a number available but this is the type of thing.

If you have the type that has the two holes in the front then they are the right ones..
There are a few radios held in with a nut at the back of the radio which on Ducatos ( the type with the flip up map board over the radio ) you access by undoing the two bolts on the fascia just below the radio and the two ( all star drive ) at the back of the map holder ( this is from memory so might be off on the front ones )

Thank you so much for all your replies! Will order the fascia panel and get the boss to do the job. It's not so much the DAB as the USB as I have lots of music on memory sticks and it just makes it so much easier! Plus the access for Ron to plug in his iPod and cause me to suffer the agonies of John bloody Denver! :yawn2:

The facia offers the choice of fitting in the upper or lower opening, the pocket can be moved.

Looks ok, but the panel looks to be flat, and the panel on the dash is curved (as in the pic) do you reckon it will still fit?
