I have a 2005 2 ltr HDI.
I might have to change the Batt ;in the handbook it states that after reconnection to "switch on the ignition and wait 1 min to allow the electronic systems to be initialised " and then "if slight difficulties are experienced after this, please contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Has anyone else had a problem after reconnection ?
Would my Toad alarm have to be reprogramed ?
Any imput on the above will be gratefully recieved.

Hi Poppy
What I have done in the past to avoid losing my radio memory when changing batteries is to make up a pair of jumper leads (only needs to be light gauge cable) connect the new battery to the old one with the jumper leads (+ to +, - to -) before disconnecting the battery leads, then remove the leads, change the batteries over then disconnect the jumper leads, this way you have never lost power to the management system and there is no need to worry about re entering codes etc.
