I'm new to all this and having a few teething problems with my first motirhome, a weinsberg carahome. My current one is that one of the locks, to the toilet cassette, broke as the barrel came right out when I pulled the key out. The dealer sent me a new one, see photo. However, there are no instructions on how to change this. Does any one know what this type of lock is called, and even better how to fit it! Google hasn't helped much on this occas Thank you folks. Much appreciated!

Put the key in the barrel then fit the barrel to the handle. When the key is in all tumblers will retract except one at the end furthest from the key. This tumbler keeps the barrel in place. The red key mentioned by RichardB is longer than the normal key and retracts the extra tumbler to allow the barrel to be removed. It isn't needed for installation.
