Central locking system on mine seems to have a delay mechanism. Automatic locking is triggered a few seconds after you set of, when you come to a stop open one or both cab doors without delay but not the habitation door. Is this normal or have I got a problem

Sounds OK to me, if I understand you right anyway, you drive off and the doors all lock(y) then when you stop and open a cab door the habitation stays locked? sound pretty sensible to me but don't know how it should be.

Sounds correct to me too. When you start off it then locks all doors. When you open either of cab doors hab stays shut as it is programmed that way.
Similar to a car when you unlock the boot doesn't open
