CCC use of facilities (1 Viewer)

A fellow camper told me that some CCC sites allow the use of facilities for £7.20 without the need to stay on site. I havnt been able to confirm this as I only have a phone to check their site. Does anyone know of this .

Yes you can but you have to be a member and you can only stay on site for 3 hours you can use the showers , washing machines and fill up with water etc

It's funny you would have to pay to be able to use washing machine that you have to pay to use anyway.

I'll have to look when I have a bigger screen as I was told there was a list of sites somewhere . I find using a phone on their site very difficult.

I think that even their own list isn't definitive: I've used the MSP at the Skye site on Loch Greshornish. But maybe that was just a bit of local enterprise going on as it's not listed on the site webpage.....

We called at the one on Skye earlier this year. There was a notice at the top of the drive saying " site full " but we went down and asked if we could use the Service point and for a cash fee of £5 we were allowed to empty the cassette & grey water and fill up with fresh water. We were asked if we wanted to use the showers before a price was given but as we declined, we dont know if that would be extra.

I seem to remember reading that this site was a franchise (or similar) so, as said using the Service point may be a bit of private enterprise.

Last week I stayed at Woodhall Spa for two nights for £13.05 on a grass pitch, no EHU, not a great bargain for me

Try North America - we are averaging £33 a night and the pitches can be tiny.

Another option is to go to their 'Search for Sites' page & search by map. Set the range to Max (50ml radius) of either your current position or somewhere else. Put a tick in the Motorhome Stop Off box in the Required Facilities list but make no other restriction. You will then see all Club Sites within 50 miles of your selected point that offer the facility.
