CBE switch wiring

The boss wants to have led lights above front seats so purchsed a single cbe switch to link to existing 12v ligting circuit. The switch has 3 connectors on rear ( see image).
I understand the switch sits on the 12v live but which do i attach the 12v feed to and then which to link the switch to led to? Any advice gratefully received.

If its a 2 way switch I'd say 12v goes to the middle and the lights got to one of the others depending on which way up you want it

As there is no illumination so no negative required the worst that can happen is it doesn't work. You can't short it out.

Are you using led tape? If so will probably have to be wired right way round. We used side light led tape. Was great.

We have led strip that currently used 12v cig socket via usb connector but boss wants a cleaner perm fixing.
