Thanks everyone for the help with my electrics - I now found the 50A fuse in 1 of the Boite Relais Securite boxes has blown, will replace but anyone think of any obvious reason why it would blow before I delve too deeply

If you could say which relay..start battery or leisure battery relay fuse....but..
Common reason is for one or other of the batteries to go flat..when relay closes there is a current surge....
If you have a wiring fault , ie a short somewhere you will know soon enough as it will blow again..
