Caxton card usage (1 Viewer)

Off to France next week with a shiny new Caxton card loaded and ready to go.

Can they be used anywhere or are there places where they won't be accepted? (24hr fuel/toll roads?)

EDIT the new one is accepted anywhere displaying the Visa sign.

I would advise that whilst the exchange rate is so steady that you only use it for CASH withdrawal and use a credit card for fuel and shopping

Items 4 & 5 in the link seem to say that the situation is as it always has been.

4) Will not work on automatic fuel stations if you do not have enough ballance on the card for the pre authorisation amount.

5) They do not work on toll booths as the card requires pre authorisation which the booths do not do.

I use mine for all purchases other than if it will not work due to either of the above.
