Anybody taken their cat to France post Brexit ? I know people take their dogs, is it the same procedure, does it include a mountain of paperwork, ID photos of the animal from 12 different angles and a qualified vet to accompany you throughout your travels. IMG_4745.jpg

It’s no good hiding it in there, according to some, they inspect your fridge at the border these days 🤣

Yes,same for dogs, cats and ferrets, cheapest way of obtaining a AHC is through an on line vet.

They don’t however have to have the worming tablet for return.

Mmmmm. So if my dog identifies as a cat (which I’m sure is allowed, and very fashionable now) he won’t need a worming tablet.

It may be worthwhile seeking out a friendly French vet and get an EU pet passport. A lot cheaper and last longer.

A chap yesterday in Catral, Spain made an appointment at a Spanish vet and got an EU passport for his dog for €15 and it lasts the life of the dog. Rabies jabs €20.

Hi - any idea which vet please? Lots in the area! Equally do you know if they do a 3 year rabies jab or the 1 year I believe many do in parts of Spain? Thanks David
