Cat mange (1 Viewer)

Didn't know whether to put this in the wildlife section.

A feral cat that we have been feeding has what I am fairly certain is mange.

Does anyone know of any treatments that do not involve picking the cat up, whilst he lets me gently stroke it's back I suspect that I would need body armour to pick it up and take it to the vet's.

Is there an anti fungal powder on the market .. that way you can shake it on its back whilst stroking its head and keeping it occupied?

I will do a bit of research, my daughter is coming out to France in a few weeks so I will see if she can get something.

If you have a cat rescue charity locally, they may trap the cat, enabling it to be taken to the vet for treatment.

Celia Hammond is one cat charity that springs to mind

Hope you manage to get it sorted

I think the application may be a problem!!

I have found a spray called Ecomange but everybody seems to be out of stock in the UK.
