Hi we have the above heater and it works fine in the morning at 8 but the rest of the day and night it won't turn on and no gas going through is there a timer on it anywhere

Hi Polly, when you say its working, what fuel. leccy or gas? Do they cut your electrity off after you've used x amount?

It's only gas and there's no gas coming through the day only at 8in the morning all other appliances working ok.xx

Polly, on our Beseccarr, the knob on the fire would not always be in the correct position for lighting even though aligned with the marker, I used to press it first before rotating to the lighting position and feel it drop into the lighting position, which then opens the gas valve. May work.

Could be your regulator failing, if your using something else that's not used in the daytime, what gas are you using ?
It seems odd it's only after eight. 😁
I think the first thing to check is the flue and any air intake are clear under the fire, make sure you have good ventilation and see if it makes a difference, it's probably a safety problem. 🙂

Maybe you neighbour's plugged into your BBQ point. 🤔😁 Bob.
