Carver 5500 gas ignition (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I have a Carver 5500 turboo fanmaster fire in my van and am told by service engineer that the gas ignition unit has 'gone', Needless to say I need a replacement and they are, it seems, as rare as rocking horse droppings!!

Went out last weekend and now it seems that the electric heater part is not working, anyone have any ideas short of replacing the whole darn fire.

Appreciated.

try looking for parts or even a complete fire as spares on EBay

Thanks for that, have emailed him, hopefully he can help and when I next stay in Nottingham I can sort it, fingers, toes, legs and everything else crossed
