Carthago water pump

Our water pump has started surging. It doesn’t do it with the kitchen tap, but the bathroom tap surges on hot and cold but not if it’s positioned halfway so is getting hot and cold in equal amounts. Can we do anything or does it need to go to the dealer.
I ran it to get the air out after topping it up.
Any thoughts please.

If it has an accumalator /presure vessel on it it may have lost its charge you need to switch of pump and pump the schrader valve to restore the air cushion or it could be a sticking diaphram in the pump switch try adjusing the presure screw on top of the pump right in then back to existing position

Or if it hasn't got accumulater fit one.
I don't think the Compact Line & C Tourer have them but the more expensive models do.

When you purged the bathroom tap did you also expel air from the shower and toilet flush ?

No it never entered my mind. We are sat watching the ships on the Seine so in the morning I will try that. Thanks
