I have a round lift out part of the garage floor about 6" diameter in the middle of the garage floor? It looks like underneath there is a water tank with a blue removal top. Does this mean I have a second water tank fitted to the motorhome?

Just to clear up which motorhome are you asking about? You have a phoenix in your avatar, which incidentally the only thing I know about them is that I can’t afford one!
Secondly as it’s Carthago i4.9 in the title which is the model I have albeit a 2016 vintage, yes there are two tanks interlinked, 1 which is 100l which is central under the floor next to the shower, the other is under the bottom end of the bed on the shower side. Im struggling to see (on my model at least) the benefits of lowering the rear clearance on the motorhome under the garage not to mention the extra weight on the rear axle! What year van are you asking about? All that said the blue top is usually a fresh water lid, the grey water lid is red

Go buy a black waste container and the lids are red
