Does anyone know where the fuse is located for the piezo ignition for the grill/oven? Ours decided to stop working on holiday and as I've been busy with Mum since we got back over 2 weeks ago I haven't had the time to find it so if anyone knows it's location I'd appreciate them telling me!

Appreciate a different van. On our Burstner when you turn the hab electrics off, the heating, fridge controls and sparker still work so they are Ona separate fuses to the rest of the hab electrics.

I’m interested too. Don’t think ours ever worked since we got it. We don’t use the oven very much (hob & bbq most of the time), and on the rare occasion we do, I just use a bbq lighter.

It can’t be the same fuse as the piezo-electric one for the job as that one still works!

We have a Pilote 783 and ours worked a few weeks back and then stopped cooker has not been used by previous user so ony used less than 10 times interested to find out if there are fuses for this
Ps hob one works fine, you have to enable aux power though

We took the oven out of ours and fitted another drawer instead, so can’t help.

Our hob one still works and so does the light on the oven so I'm at a loss to know where the issue is, I don't really want to mess about removing the oven so if I can't sort it easily then it will have to wait until it goes in for its damp check and get done under warranty.

Is it 12V or a push to generate type?
Its a rocker switch hence why I assume it's a 12v one rather than a manual spark generator.

Yep I would say so.
Broken wire / connection? They are often on spade connections behind the switch that seem to fail with the heat
The switch should prize out the front.

Thanks, that had crossed my mind but wasn't sure, I'll have to give it a tug and see if it comes off.

If you have a rocker switch to operate the spark just jiggle it a bit.
Our hob spark stopped working for a while for no apparent reason. After giving the switch a bit of jiggling (technical term) it has worked ever since.
I think the contacts got a bit grubby or oxidised or summat.

Richard.

Does that work for anything else that doesn't always function properly? :giggle:

I removed the switch the other day, jiggled it a bit, removed the spade connectors and reattached them but no joy, it's still sparkless, will have to mark it down for the dealer to sort out when it goes in for its damp check, I have a nice gas filled long nosed lighter so will have to make do with that for now.

Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions as t how to solve it.
