If you are looking to change your motorhome, the Thetford C250 cassette comes with its own wheels!
The cheaper option would be one of these-

Broken Link Removed

It folds down to a very compact size.

There are quite a few types of lightweight folding trolley on sale. Shows and caravan shops have them as do hardware stores. Lidl & Aldi sometimes have them as specials as well. Weights can vary between similar patterns so that's something to watch.

Unless they come with bungee straps you will need a couple to hold the cassette on.

I've found that the ones with slightly larger wheels work best.

Hi.
As above, bigger wheels means extra ground clearance, you may struggle with the cassette even if it has wheels on uneven ground.

Yup.. we carry a small fold up barrow for such things ( but if the dump is a long way off ( as in more than 10 yards !! ) I carry it on the push bike :D

Have a folding Towsure trolley purely for this purpose, however it is quite noisy when wheeling on hard surfaces so not ideal if you are a very early dumper! Easy way to upset your neighbours. I prefer the option of emptying each morning having used only limited chemicals -there is only me in the van and the loo only gets used of an evening or an emergency!

I use a shopping trolley .... er...... trolley. In other words discard the bag. A single elastic holds the cassette on & the wheels are probably 4" - 5" in diameter. The base folds & the handle telescopes when not in use so it's easy to store. It's better than any purpose-made trolley I've ever seen.

Thats what I use with a bungy rope round it.

Chinese bazaars in Spain sell them for about 20 Euros. Fold flat, lightweight, ideal.

The C250 cassette with wheels and telescopic handle is as useless as the model Porta Potti that came with its own filler hose that was rendered useless by the necessities of hygiene. I use a Draper folding trolley which I sometime use or the Waste Hog which has a step to carry 'bog' cassettes.

I use a cheap folding shopping trolley.. takes up hardly any room and handy to use for any other heavy stuff that I may buy from shows, etc.... and drinking water bottles when filled at the taps

Another vote for the shopping trolley. We use ours for the intended purpose when shopping with the bag and without the bag with a bungy for the cassette.
Comes in handy for carrying the fresh water as well in our 25 litre container.

There's a definite application of future drone technology here. Imagine it, as soon as the cartridge is full you could open a hangar door in the side of your MH, launch it like Thunderbird 2 and fly it over to the disposal point using your mobile phone.

More realistically, I bought one of those kiddie trailers for my bike and have used that for trips to distant disposal points with the cartridge, water jerry can and grey water jerry can all in one go. Also handy for the supermarket and beach gear if you're based on an aire.

I usually empty ours every day, nothing beats the sound of a turd hitting the bottom of the cassette.

I've always thought a folding golf trolley could be adapted, (Bigger wheels) when watching folk using shopping trolley's for the cassette!

I've always pulled it along like I'm strolling through Terminal 5 at Heathrow tugging a suitcase, never had an issue.

I once saw a bloke using gloves to sort his at an elsan point... He followed me into the loos, stood, bit of a shake then walked off without washing his hands????

It's a funny old world!

I used a wastemaster greywater tote with the cassette bungied/strapped to the top and resting on the 'shelf'
Empty the cassette AND some grey water at the same time.

Our pitch at La Manga is straight opposite the emptying point so no more than 20 ft away. This is great for me as I empty ours every day but is also a bit of a nuisance sometimes especially when you get someone dragging a full cassette through the gravel at 6 am. You also get the ones who carry it horizontally in front of them wearing thick marigolds and wishing that they weren’t there. And I won’t mention the ones who don’t use any chemicals.
