Just to let you know that my booking became definite yesterday as I finally ordered the base vehicle, (had to switch to the Merc 316 in the end but no other choice really.) Delivery is allegedly in mid March so if the converter can do the bulk of the work by April 18th I shall be there, if they can't I'll still be there (but might need that tent you offered me a while back )

Thought you'd want to know so you are not juggling too many numbers at this stage.

I hope Carmarthen is nicer than Tesco's Barnstaple. But then a lot of places are. I only go there when I have to (Tesco's that is). Prefer Waitrose in Holsworthy. It's nearer home.

Given the large number of Funsters now attending this show and given that this number is likely to increase since it seems as though we will be able to enjoy the sight of Wildman's hair, beard and eyebrow harvesting, I wish the following to be known to all Funsters...

The malicious and totally unfounded rumour that I might be having a bath prior to coming to the show is a complete lie...

Such a despicable distortion of the truth could ruin a man's reputation.
