Carbon cleaning🤔

My son his having his car engine carbon cleaned under mate rates and he has offered to do my boxer 2.5 non turbo sift royale since he's there anyway. Is it worth having it done or not I know very little about motorhomes and even less about engine's. Would my 25 year old engine like it

Wouldn't do it on a 25yr old engine.

Seen it discussed many times. Equal amount of does not work / caused damage / great idea.

It's a hard one. Even though 47k in 25 years isn't a lot of miles maybe the carbon build up is doing some good I think I might go on the side of caution
