We first had a caravan years ago, toured Europe quite a few times. Then we bought a 7.5 m A class, Hymer. 6 berth. loved it. Then we went back to a caravan, twin axle huge thing. Then we bought a smaller caravan and left it in Spain and bought a panel van conversion, No kids now. Bit cramped when away for 8 weeks at a time. So we bought a coach built 6.5 m 3 berth. Now we have a 3 birth A class Hymer.
They all have good and bad points but for us the MH beats a caravan for ease and flexibility. Still have the caravan in Spain though and we usually end up there after touring round or if we fancy a quick break and fly over.
