Caravan & Motorhome Club Booking System Anomaly

We are booked in at New England until tomorrow. Last night I tried to book into another club site, leaving NE a day early which of course has been paid for but I wasn’t worried about losing one nights fees. Anyway the next site would not accept the booking because I already had a booking elsewhere. I go to My Bookings to try and change the NE but of course its no longer just a booking as I’m already here! Too late to phone anyone for help so I give up. Of course if I left here today the wardens know my pitch is vacant as i give back my barrier key card but does that free the system up. Seems crazy to me, turning down extra money!

It is annoying but I think it is geared up to stop people making multiple bookings for the same date.

It is not possible to make multiple bookings for the same dates on the CMC website.
The only way to amend or overide a change like the op wanted is to make a call to wardens or the current site warden. But once phones are down for the day your stuck.

If you are leaving a C&MC site early and going to another you get a full refund on the days you "chop off" assuming you arrange this through the warden on site.

The only way, that I know of and it is done, is some members have dual membership for husband and wife and can individually book different sites for the same dates.

Correct, however they can be for the same vehicle which, obviously, can't be in two places at the same time unless it's been cloned!
