Have a friend on site with a three way fridge which will not work!
There seems to be no power supply either 230 v or 12v
Any ideas anyone?

From memory, the fridge only works on 230v and gas. 12v is for when connected to the car and the engine is running.
Is it working on gas?
Is the caravan master switch turned on for the 230v supply?
Are any other 230v items, eg lights (not 12v), kettle, etc working?
Has the MCB in the caravan tripped?
If not, has the bollard tripped?
Still thinking!

Yes it should run on gas but needs 12v supply for panel!

Had a moho a while ago where the permanent 12v (needed for it to work on any power source) was routed via the Aux supply switch on the control panel. If the Aux was accidently turned off then the fridge wouldn't work.

Maybe something similar?

OK. I assume other 12v items are working?
Can you access the back of the fridge through the vent covers? If so, can you check to see if there is a 12v supply to the back of the fridge?
Disconnect the 230v EHU and shut off gas to be on the safe side.

Leaving to experts now!

Glad you at least know where the problem lies.
Nothing worse than not knowing and getting paid assistance to find out the switch was off!

I'm a newbie and always will be. You never know it all.
Would this fridge be a dometic by any chance? Because i'm having exactly the same problem.

I had issues with a 3 way Electrolux fridge "not working", ie it wasn't getting cold. I googled (a lot) and found the same answer from several individuals. Take the fridge out, turn it upside down for a few hours, turn it back over and refit it! It transpires the chemicals involved in it's design can form crystals, which eventually block the pipes. Turning the fridge makes them fall and disperse into liquid again.
