On site recently. Warden told me I should have a vap on my flue for the gas cooker?? Any clues what excatly I need and where to purchase

a cap on the flue? do you mean a transport cover or a draught cover for the vent? Most ovens don't have flue vents just heat vents

Most cookers are vented internally

Sorry you got there as I did.

the oven mounted above the fridge freezer has a combined vent on the roof, but is vented also through the top fridge vent. The roof vent looks like a long narrow box with a pitched roof to stop rain getting in

Every van we have had the oven has had a roof vent, the same one they use on Truma fires the cap screws on.

The grey one is the oven vent.

The picture looks very similar I will post picture tomorrow. If it is where do I buy a cap??

Tell the warden to keep his nose out.
I expect the warden was trying to be helpful, especially if the top part is missing as it means rain can get in and rust out your cooker. Perhaps he is warning you there is a cover fitted by the previous owner to stop rain and snow blowing in during bad winter weather. It is essential to remove that kind of cover before using the oven as could, although unlikely, cause carbon monoxide poisoning.
