Cannot "Paste" to forum

Often come across an item which I want to Copy/Paste to a thread on the forum. Having "copied" at source cannot then "paste" to thread chosen. Can manage OK on laptop but not my tablet (Samsung Tab 10.1)............. any ideas? Anybody else have same problem, or maybe just me?

on ipad you paste into notes and copy from there and paste onto forum

Hi Bryan

Did you actually select and stretch the area you want to copy first, then Copy, then Paste? Found I can do it that way on my iPad. Hope this works for you.

Samsung tab 3 10.1

Highlight and click copy on taskbar.
Hold cursor where you want the item to appear and either a pop-up (paste) will appear above the cursor or it will say paste in the top task bar.

Mainly try to paste URL'S and all Ineed to do is highlight item/area by tapping and then choosing copy function. Paste seems to work for other locations/forums/email etc......... just not this forum. Puzzling.

I often have the same problem on my iPad. Sometimes works sometimes doesn't.

I just copy/pasted the above link by holding on the address bar URL, click copy on the top task bar then pasted by holding the curser where i wanted it then clicking paste above the curser.

That is exactly my problem. Do all that, then tap in text box for reply but no options appear to enable me to select paste. Works as normal elsewhere, just not here. Should also say that I cannot "copy" from this forum to post elsewhere eg into email. See screenshot attached.

Correct so far.

Tap on 'copy' on the top bar.

TOUCH AND HOLD, dont just tap, where you want to paste and a box saying 'paste' will appear above the curser.
tap 'paste' and the link will appear.

Maybe try shortcuts?

Once highlighted use CTRL 'C' to copy. Then CTRL 'V' to paste

Need to "tap" reply text box to activate..
Then "tap and hold" and await the arrival of "paste" prompt, but............ he no come, ever!!!!

Nothing so grand............ Samsung Tab 2, 10.1 with Android version 4.0.4
