Cancelled ferry

Our bilbao ferry is cancelled on Sunday so it’s the shuttle early Tuesday morning and the long drive down

We had 2 cancelled from Bilbao and Santander, had to leg it to Roscoff to get home this Tuesday.

It's still very windy out there. I had to make a flying visit from Spain to UK today and the landing was worse than any ride at Alton Towers. After dumping fuel (not something Ryanair do lightly) and one aborted landing we eventually got down. Absolutely petrifying. I wish I'd driven...

I think we made the right decision, weather was a bit poop through France and the roscoff ferry was a bit lumpy but better than having another 6 day wait for another ferry that might have been cancelled. BF refunded the difference in ferry costs and gave me £150 for travelling costs.
