Just bought a 2019 Roller Team Zefiro 696 which I love. But it does not have any outside lights. I was going to buy a couple of Solar lights from Amazon (Solar Lights Outdoor, AOMEES Solar Motion Sensor Lights Waterproof Super Bright Wireless) - but my concern is drilling the side of my Motorhome. Can I use self tapping screws or will I need raw plugs or should I try and glue them on? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks. Nick

Hi Nick.

Why not use 12 volt Led and come off the power to your fridge freezer and Screw and glue SIka flex 512 by your habitation door through a toggle switch?

Welcome Nick...

The control panel should be pre wired for an awning light although I thought they all had one? I think it's the 2nd button down on the left.

12v awning lights aren't expensive and you could even fit a longer one than those found on the Auto Rollers etc.

remove the panel and drill a small hole sufficient for the width of the wire from the inside. The GRP skin will hold a small self tapping screw but still apply white sikaflex 291i to the back and around the strip light plus both sides of the drill hole. Then just follow the wiring instructions.

Fix it with car body trim double-sided tape. It won't come off. If you have a wind-out awning the underside of the case is a good place for an LED strip.

HELLO TO ALL WHO REPLIED ... Thanks so much for all the great comments - I now have a plan of action....get someone else to do it! I'm having an electric awning fitted so they will do the lights at the same time. Great web site by the way, really helpful. Thanks again to everyone who took the time to write.
