Last year we came close but this year we are determined to spend more time in the MH than at home, doing well so far to date 53 days since 1 st January, at present on a MCC Rally till Monday then 6 days at Haggerston (Haven site so cheap at £56 on a super pitch)

That's quite a goal @Stewart J and I wish you all the best (y)
I would love to spend so much time away but family and other commitments take priority

Have been away since last September and wont be home until the end of May, but only for a couple of weeks before heading off to Norway for the summer. It will then be time to go back to the winter quarters in September again. Dont let anyone kid you its easy being retired. Its damned hard work.

Hopefully April, May and June in Greece, then back for Summer in UK (if there is one )
then odd weeks away in UK and off to Spain/Portugal for Winter..
You are right Snowbird, retirement IS bloody hard work...
It makes those 50 years working hard, all worth while.. :D

59 days so far, so still on target. ;0) Hoping to have a long weekend away on a rally before we fly out to Spain middle of April for 4 weeks serious birding! Family and other commitments at the mo for a couple of weeks!

That's what we did, ;) then sold it.  Bob.

Just back from a long weekends birding in one of our favourite locations, Dumfries and Galloway. OK weather not the best but the birdwatching and locations were. Bonus of 3 nights wild camping in the most scenic of locations were it is actually encouraged :-)

Total now 62 nights in the van ;-)
