Broken most bits now
Booked into a site for the 5 day Christmas but now only allowed 1 day. We're in Tier 3 and the site is in tier 2 so presumably only allowed 1 day now?
Will I get my deposit back...

Don’t think it affects stays on sites. Affects households meeting.

That is, in the same tier ratings.

as tier 3 bar xmas relaxation we weren’t meant to overnight even in our own areas.
i would imagine the site will now be closing and offering a refund or credit

I think you should go home.
Refund of deposit is irrelevant.
Full timer so no home to go to (should have completed on house purchase in November but that didn't happen ) - hopefully the site where we are now will allow us to stay (luckily they have been brilliant so far)

Yes stay, explain you don’t have a house or, the engine just died on you and won’t start. You are waiting for a spare part due to come in after Christmas, to fix it. Without it can’t move unless towed to the lay-by.

just be honest, people will help you lie about it and all trust is lost. Good luck

I've just copied this from the BBC website.

The below relate to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, the IOW and now Herefordshire.

I 'get' all the rules EXCEPT the penultimate one.
  • On Christmas Day you can form a "Christmas bubble" composed of people from no more than three households.
  • You may not form a bubble with anyone from a tier four area.
  • If you have already formed a support bubble with another household, that counts as one household, so you can join with two other households in a Christmas bubble.
  • You can only be in one Christmas bubble and you cannot swap between bubbles.
  • You can meet people in your Christmas bubble in private homes or gardens, places of worship or public outdoor spaces.
  • However, while it is allowed, the government advises people to avoid travelling to other areas and only to stay overnight with someone else if absolutely necessary..
  • You cannot go to the pub with members of your Christmas bubble.
  • If you form a Christmas bubble, you should not meet socially in your home or garden with people who are not in the bubble.

Can anyone on here explain that rule. I appreciate that we are so lucky to not be affected as are others (but at the same time I know why we are in Tier One.)

If I'm reading this right you aren't on the site you planed to stay on over Christmas?, you are a fulltimer, where are you now?

Not allowed to leave tier three to go to a lower tier anyway except in exceptional circumstances.
Or do you consider the rules don't apply?

I too am assuming that we revert to tier system for the 4 days but can you show me where it's confirmed

We were hoping to get nearer to the Solicitors dealing with our house purchase in the 5 day free for all so we could sign contracts with minimal travel. That's not going to h
Where ever you are now, just stay there.

If your being moved on in a tier 3 area, stay in that area,

This isn’t about you, it’s about ALL of us
No $h1t Sherlock but what are the rules in the 4 aborted days?
It's a 1st world problem if we're allowed to stay (in a tier 3 closed site) but we're homeless if not - what would you do..

That doesn't answer the question, are you on a camp now?

Just as I’m doing, and stay where you are. Your Solicitor will tell you if and when they need you in the office, and it won’t be between the 24th and the 27th as they will be closed, and if and when you can move into the house.

People who keep flaunting the rules are keeping this epidemic going, sod your bloody deposit, people are dying.

dunnah01 if you're on a CCC site they are closing all their Tier 3 and 4 sites according to their website but quite honestly as a full timer I would just refuse to leave as you don't have a home to go to.

No idea what CAMC are doing as not a member. You'll need to check their website - during the last lockdown they were actually better than CCC in that they let full timers stay put.

Fortunately we've been allowed to stay put. CAMC site had no choice but to cancel us as we're currently staying in tier 3 area (even though it was tier 1 prior to last lockdown and figures have gone down since then  )
Hey-Ho, deposit refunded so it's now a 1st world problem rather than a 3rd world problem
