Thanks..

Sounds good to me !
Can you test drive it to see if you like the driving position?(y)

( it’s a bit more luxurious than a digger!! I’m sure!)

Is this the one at travelworld , looks a nice van ,just out of interest Thereis an A class version at OMCmotorhomes very nice looking van, also there's a private one on here for sale.

I only know because i was looking at these , & also the burstner I 720(A class), & T 720(low profile).:D

We have a 2017/18 version of the very same model and are absolutely thrilled with it. It’s lovely and roomy, has loads of storage (as long as you don’t need a garage), comfy decent sized lounge, good kitchen with a proper oven, drives really well with no long overhang at the back and has really comfy beds. Negatives, well whoever decided that the bed head light would be good almost in the middle of the bed head where your head should go needs seeing to, there’s nowhere for your morning cuppa in bed to rest (although we have bought a little folding table to sort this) and it’s a long way for us to drive to Becks. Other than this it’s the best van we have owned by a country mile.

Oh, and to add my thoughts on the price they want, compared to how much ours cost new it’s a b****y bargain!

No, no, no, no, no.

You know it makes sense.

Come back to the fold, VeryOldFella. :gum:

Love it Maurice great to see your planning for adventures new, the van looks lovely..

Lovely van, not too big. But as you say, you could get many brand new ones at that price. Get haggling.

I think there is a good few quids worth of extra`s, Brian...

I have only listed some of the better ones..

But I do like a bargain... :D

4500kg. Have you let C1 lapse ?

Just over two years ago.... I sent my license in as it was due for renewal (3 year C1of E) Did not have a medical nor eye test..

And told DVLA I just wanted to keep a car license and my Motor bike side of things...

They sent my license back with all the entitlements I asked to be taken off....

People have said get another up to 7.5 ton.... it`s their fault... but if I did and had an accident who would take the rap...moi..

It's not the end of the world, 3500kg is perfectly workable as you know from your own and ours.

Let's be honest, you've got a very nice MH right now, comfortable, low miles, one careful owner and it's the owner that is the problem. There is no crime or shame in saying "I've had enough". This year's run to the sun just did not click for me, noisy pitches, not sleeping well, we've no plans on repeating this. If we want sun next year it will be in a plane.

But for the rest of this year we've got some nice UK trips, Jaws for one and if the magic has gone so will the MH.

Jaws, come on, put in your diary, lets see a few more miles on that Elddis. 24th of May give or take a few days.

Then there is Stratford on 12th June. It's one of the top places to park an Elddis.

If I cannot find one with single beds and a bathroom across the back I will keep it... :(

Offer em £1.00 a week,,,, watch him crumble in front of you,,,,, Xx

I've had a Tramp in the past nice vans but I don't reckon that one is runnable 3500kg, if you are interested you need a weighbridge ticket first.
Also I think it's way overpriced, even allowing for the extras.

I think if you take the medical you can get your C1 back.

The good thing is, you can divide the kitchen area off from the shower, bed and bathroom, so it gives a good size room to faff about in.

Remember that Hymers base prices don't include almost everything, like wheels, windows, brakes, paint, engine. All extras I'm afraid.
