Hi Everyone
We are new to this, and have just bought our MH ( Laika H 680), there are a couple of things that need looking at such as:
Temp gauges moves up to hot then drops down to normal quickly but the overheat warning light does not come on.
Air Con not working
Any suggestions would be appreciated, we are in Hollywood but can travel to anywhere within Midlands, Worcester area. Or if you know of a mobile engineer
Many thanks
Kind Regards

Not sure if Dave Newell would do this type of work. But I would recommend him. (y)

Thanks Mike but we don't deal with air con and the temp gauge sounds like an instrument panel issue. To the op, can you tell us the base vehicle and year as it might help us to help you.

Also a place near Bromsgrove - Whychway garage in whychbold used to be called discovery motors. I’ve used them and they are used to dealing with motorhomes as they do all the stuff for motorhome depot in Redditch

Hi, not sure if you want to travel but Corporate Service Solutions at Long Buckby Wharf near Daventry are excellent. They do a lot of motorhome servicing (nearly all of Heart Of England motorhome servicing!) and have looked after my Fiat based motorhome

When we had a ducato base, I used the Motorhome depot in Redditch. They are Adria dealers but have a large workshop facility. Easy to get to from you. We are in Solihull.

Any competent mechanic/garage with a lift that can take a decent weight and a ceiling that's not too low should be able to fix/sort out an older Fiat Ducato based motorhome. I use Comptons Garage in Leamington and they are excellent. The one place I would not use is a Fiat garage - tried them once - totally useless, expensive & unhelpful.

Hi All
Just to say thank you for your advice, we went to Whychway garage in whychbold ( thanks Dux Deluxe) they sorted out the over heating problem and air con for us, seems it was a sensor. So up and running now. Have just come back from a trial run out 3 days in the costswolds so looking to plan our next venture out

I had a similar issue, temp guage, took it to a garage #fail, then took it to BR Cartronics, they sorted it out, I would not go to any other garage, it may be a bit of a distance...
