Just taken MH out for a run for the first time since buying in December. Everything works except the 240 sockets when the ehu is not connected.
Any answers?:helpsos:

Am I being a wally here? As far as I know no 240v sockets work when not on hook up but that is when you use gas, ie heating, cooking and for the tv you use the leisure battery which doesn't go to the 240v sockets.

Thanks for reply.. Excuse the ignorance of not knowing 240 would only work when ehu hooked up.. I am a virgin motorhomer and as yet never been away in van. (Perhaps I should read instruction books a bit more)oh:

Don't worry. I still haven't got to grips with some things and knowing the difference between LPG/propane/calor/butane and fittings for Gaslow and watnot confuse me totally, which is a bit worrying since I'm sure the day will come when I'll be stuck.

In my defence I have to state that she turned it on once when we were first married...and I had hold of the bare end at the time....cancelled my insurance after that...lol

Hi Ricky
Like others have said 240 on hook up only, if you lose your 12v check your fuses Ive had probs with them in the past, everything will drop in to place, so just enjoy your van .Pete :thumb::thumb::thumb:
