Can anyone explain what this all means?

I had the first hab check done on 16th May, and since then the levels have dropped and I managed to get this downloaded. I don't understand what has gone wrong.

I couldn't get the picture on I am not very good at this... anyway, I had my first hab check done on 16th May ... checked the Victron thingy today and can't understand what's gone wrong.

What figures are you looking at which have dropped off?
Its difficult to get to grips with on a phone screen.

Yield - column 3 - C

Max PV Power (W) - column 5 - E That had a big jump on 16th May too.

Time in Apsorption - column 10 - J

All changed after 16th May when hab check was done.

Not since 16th May? The levels have dropped.

Yes, a marked change/reduction since then. The weather hasn’t been that bad since then so there’s something else going on.

Can you see the state/condition of the solar panels? It’s almost as though someone has covered them, or that they’ve been damaged.

Solar panel seems fine, Barry does get up there regularly to give it a dust. It just seems so strange that all these big changes happened after the hab check, and a big surge on Max PV Power on that date.

Has the regulator battery settings been disturbed and switched to the wrong type of battery.

Min and max battery voltages are the same throughout, so you've not got a heavily discharged battery and it's fully charging each day.

Two options:
1) you had something permanently on in the van before the hab check that was relatively low power, but eating a few percent of the battery each day. And now it's off. MiFi? USB charger?
2) the battery type has been changed in the solar charger?

I could be wrong but if you have not used the van since the 16th then there has been no call or load on the hab battery. Therefore its full and the solar adjusts its outputs accordingly.

1) No.

2) Not by us!

But we only used it for a couple of days in the two weeks before that, and what about the 16th May big rise in Max PV power?

Could it be that everything is ticking along nicely and the figures just reflect that you have not used van systems since the 16th? Maybe Lenny HB can assist.

PS. Don't forget. If it ain't broke don't fix it ;).

To me it looks like your battery is full and not drawing on the solar as much as it did before.
You say there wS no load before but really you may not have noticed.

Look at it the other way, you were needing to generate a lot of electricity before to charge your battery, and now it's significantly less.

You generated a peak of 170Wh is ~15Ah. If you've got a 100Ah battery, as you can only safely use half a lead acid battery's capacity that's about a third flat each day, which is quite a bit. Now it's significantly better.

Well we don't have MiFi, and chargers are taken out, we make sure everything (fridge, telly) is off when we leave the van.
