I'm looking for recommendations for Campsites in the Pyrenees for a friend. They are Tent campers on their way to Valencia and are looking to spend a week there. They particularly like walking so anywhere with nice scenery and a basic Campsite with clean facilities would fit the bill.

Lovely town of St Jean Pied de Port has a great municipal campsite - very cheap!

Not very far into the mountains for sure but nice and quiet with a shiny new shower block http://www.deth-potz.fr/ the small town of Argelès-Gazost is nearby with a supermarket.(y)

Try Camping Pyrenees Natura, excellent site, immaculate, south of Argeles-Gazost right in the mountains. Lots of people tenting and walking. I was there about a week ago and will be going back.
