Morning all and a happy new year
We are currently on the road heading for the Somport tunnel
Does anyone have a recommendations for a campsite with hook up in the general vicinity?

Not a campsite as such but an aire with good services and ehu for 5 euros at Sabinanigo about 16 kms heading south after Jaca. There are signs that it has a 3.5T limit. Police come round & collect the money & give you a ticket. Lovely small town with beautiful mountain views

Apart from Aires at ski resorts unlikely to find any sites open this time of year most close end of Aug or Sept.

Sorry no recommendations, but Campercontact and Search for Sites show quite a few places North and South of the tunnel..

Thank you all
Sadly we are too heavy for the Aire Oscar as sounds ideal
As most have pointed out the majority of sites are closed for the winter However we have found a couple of Aires on Campercontact currently heading for the first of those to check it out Fingets crossed x

It didn't seem to be an issue - it's only a couple of 100 yards from the main road - we spoke to others who had done it
