Hi

Thinking of a few days over near Tenby / St David's areas. Maybe up the West coast a bit if that is recommended.

We need a decent site that is walkable from the town, scenic and maybe with a pubor restaurant nearby.

The Camping and Caravan Club sites seem a bit limited.

Thanks in advance

David

Caerfai Bay Caravan Park is a short walk (15 mins) from St David’s and has lovely views
Never stayed but it was featured on a local itv welsh programme about St David’s

Caerfai Bay Caravan Park - Unfortunately there is a 5 night minimum stay at this time of year. Understandable.

Lleithyr want £12 per night non-membership fees. That makes it expensive. Probably worth joining the club. We are C&CC

You will be hard pressed to find a site at less than that.

Caerfai bay is a lovely site (y) (y)
If we were staying longer I would book that one.

Staying 3 nights so booked..

The area looks lovely so I hope the sun shines!

Thanks for all the tips.

Cheers

That's a pretty good fee .. unless you want a more wild camp experience on Shell Island . .

Yeah sorry I thought that might be the case after I had posted:unsure:
Have you tried www.searchforsites.co.uk
I use several search sites but that one is new to me.

Thanks for that. Just looked. Glan-y-mor is on there. Looks OK.

As above, the added charge per night, on top of the site fees, makes booking C&MC sites unviable. I can see their thinking. We belong to C&CC.

Thanks for posting

Aberaeron which about 20 miles south of Aberystwyth has got two sites next door to each other, our favourite being http://www.campingonthefarm.co.uk/ the alternative being https://www.aeroncoast.co.uk/
camping on the farm is my first choice but will use Aeron Coast if they can't accommodate. Nothing much between them, the choice is yours.
It's a ten minute walk into town which is lovely with the best chippy on the planet down by the harbour. It's our little bolt hole and probably visit 5 or 6 weekends a year

Camping on the Farm is one of my favourites too but it does annoy me that a single camper with a dog is charged more than a unit with 4 adults ?
