Campsite near Whitehaven? (1 Viewer)

I was brought up in Cleator Moor and am hoping to spend a few days in West Cumbria later this year in our Motorhome. I'm struggling to find anywhere near to Whitehaven that also has toilet facilities and is walking distance from a pub. We like to park up then cycle during the day and don't usually use the MH again until we move on.
My husband insists on a proper toilet , but we can make do with the MH shower.
Does anyone know of a site or a pub stopover in the area. I've been really put off the site at St Bees because of bad reviews.

We have had a couple of nights at the Ravenglass caravan & camping club affiliated site. Very nice site and 5 mins walk from an excellent pub in the village . Is about 30 mins drive down the coast from Whitehaven

Thanks, but I'm really looking for somewhere closer. If all fails we may stay in Ravenglass - I know the Pub by the Ratty and the Pennington Arms. Thanks for the suggestion.
