Campsite in or near Whitley Bay (1 Viewer)

I'm looking to go to a funeral at Whitley Bay crematorium this Friday 23rd March. Can anyone tell me if there is a campsite open nearby. I was looking to get there on the 22nd and leave on the 23rd or 24th.
I would be grateful for any information.

We were booked up for the 16-18 March at Old Hartley but had to cancel due to the snow.

For those that know the site, could you imagine driving down that steep hill towards the cliff with snow on the ground; errrrrrrr, nope!!
