Campsite close to A19 near Orleans France.

Anyone know of a overnight stop campsite with electricity and showers near ORLEANS FRANCE which is close to the A19? Thank you.

chris555 The only place I have used is an ex municipal site, now an aire, at La Chapelle Saint Mesmin, but I can't remember seeing showers. Entry is via a credit / debit card and there is an electrical outlet for each plot and the cost includes wifi. Price was 6€ per night when we last used it.

A word of caution - the entry is fairly steep downhill, but sufficiently far from the Loire in case of brake problems. The same barrier is used for entry and exit.

We stayed at Camping Olivet a few times before the pandemic. It's a nice site with toilets & showers, electricity and a bar. It was also easy cycling into the centre of Orleans.
