Camping Playa Granda Motril

Has anyone any experience of this site? I'm thinking of going for January.

Just passed Motril today, didn't get to sea Playa G randa campground, but have stayed at Don Cactus last year, it's right on the beach, not to every ones taste, but we liked it, it's an oasis amongst the plastic, but I guess it's the people you meet that makes a big difference, and the weather, we are now in Torre del mar, only had a choice of six spots, all of them on the small side, won't be staying long

Stopped there on our way out in January. Nice enough site but we thought the pitches were a bit small and difficult to get onto (we're only 7m). Seemed to be mostly long-stayers of all nationalities. As we were only transiting didn't explore very far but the area looked a bit quiet.
