Please can any member tell me how much it cost this year for 2 adults and a 6.5 metre motorhome to do “camping on board” Venice or Ancona to Patras return.
It’s been a few years since we sailed down the Adriatic and wondered how much winter saving we need to do!! Thankyou

The companies involved are closing the route for winter and their 2018 sailings have not yet been put on line

Look up ANEK lines.
We came back from Patras to Ancona and I think it cost about €280 one way.
Highly recommend the ferry. It is a converted cruise ship and you get electric hook up, showers and also a pass key to get from the car deck to the rest of the ship, where there are several restaurants and bars.
Good luck.
Mitch.

Thanks Jenny and Mitch. That figure is really helpful.

We drove down via Montenegro.
Beware, they are NOT in the EU, so want €50 to cross their country.
Wish we had taken the trouble to book the ferry BOTH ways.
You CAN also go to Igoumanitsa which is just below Albania.
Enjoy
PS. Greece was fantastic and we only saw one other Brit in nearly 4 months.
We went clockwise round the Peloponnese and wild camped all the way. The locals are SO friendly.
Grab water whenever you can.
Mitch.
